From the Enterprise Ledger (newspaper): Lewie Mack Griffin Mr. Lewie Mack Griffin, 82, of Enterprise, died Saturday, July 31, 2004, at his residence following an extended illness. The funeral will be held 10 a.m. Monday, Aug. 2 at the Chapel of Patterson-Sorrells Funeral Home with the Rev. Ralph Jones officiating. Burial will follow in Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church Cemetery with Patterson-Sorrells Funeral Home directing. The family will receive friends at the funeral home from 6 to 8 p.m. today. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations to be made in memory of Mr. Griffin to Southern Care Hospice, 5 North Point Parkway, Enterprise, Ala. 36330. Mr. Griffin was a member of Park Avenue Baptist Church. He retired from the textile industry after working 39 years for the Bama Mills Co. Mr. Griffin loved cooking and was a devoted husband, loving father, grandfather and great-grandfather. Survivors include his wife of 59 years, Marie Griffin of Enterprise; one son, Roger Griffin of Montgomery; one sister, Lillian Adkinson of New Brockton; three grandchildren, Garrett Griffin of Enterprise; Gina Griffin of Enterprise; Jerrett Segars of Tuscaloosa; two great-grandchildren, Ben and John Michael Griffin of Enterprise; two step-grandchildren, Amanda and Brad Ingram of Montgomery; and several other nieces and nephews.
