    "Levi Preston, b. about 1661 (Charles Henry Preston gave for him a birthdate of 16 July 1662, without citing a source, and included the tombstone inscription from Fairfield, New Jersey: 'In memory of Levi Preston who died January 17. 1752. aged 91 years' [Preston Descendants 22-23]); 'Levi Preston' appears in a list of those in 'Nathaniel Felton. Sr.'s, ward, who were to appear on March 25, 1678,' to take the oath of fidelity (EQC 7:155, 160]; in the inventory of the estate of Jacob Preston, taken 30 June 1680, there was 'due to the estate per Levy Preston, £2 5s.'
