Wardell, Lt. Col. U.S. Army Ret. : Newby, Levi - born 2/11/1755 in Chesterfield County, Virginia, where entered service in Virginia Regiment; granted Pension there in 1832; affidavit made there then by William Findley, who served in Revolutionary War with soldier; affidavit made there then by George Snellings & Allen Whitworth; County Court Clerk then Parke Poindexter; died 2/11/1846 leaving heirs mentioned but not named, whose agent in 1855 was Isham Pucket of Richmond, Virginia.
