She was born Feb. 28, 1916, in Trapp Lake, B.C., the daughter of Richard and Carrie (Phelps) McKay.In 1938, she married Russell Rawling in Okanogan, Wash.For more than 40 years she cared for him after he lost his sight in a mining accident.They moved to Wenatchee, where she stayed until 1998, when she moved to Lebanon.She was a member of the First Methodist Church in Wenatchee.Survivors are daughters Barbara Farnsworth of Lebanon and Patricia Tyler of Rancho Cucamonga, Calif.; brother Glenn McKay of Salmon Arm, B.C.; four grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.Her husband, Russell, and four brothers died before she did.Memorial contributions may be made to Samaritan Evergreen Hospice in care of Huston-Jost Funeral Home, 86 W.
