Les, 103, died at 1:45 p.m., in the Roselawn Manor Nursing Home. He had resided there since December 2009.

He was a son of James and Sarah (Hart) Reeder. On Jan 29, 1931, he married Frances I. Miller, who survives. In January, they celebrated 79 years together, 68 years in their home in Spencerville.

Also surviving are a son...; two daughters...; nine grandchildren...; nine great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren.

Deceased are a son-in-law, Robert E. McDermitt; a grandson, Dennis McDermitt; grandson-in-law, Chuck Golliher; four siblings, Mary, Viola, Moses and Henry Reeder.

He was a member of the Trinity United Methodist Church in Spencerville; a 61-year member of the Acadia Lodge 306, Free and Accepted Masons of Spencerville, Spencerville Chapter 169, Royal Arch Masons and the Lima Council 20, Royal and Select Masons. He had worked 40 years for the Buckeye Pipeline Company of Lima as a Pipeliner "A," retiring in 1969. After retiring from there, he worked part-time for the Thomas E. Bayliff Funeral Home for 22 years. He enjoyed bowling, golf, OSU football and the Cleveland Indians baseball.

Funeral services will be in the Thomas E. Bayliff Funeral Home in Spencerville, with the Rev. Jan Johnson and his grandson the Rev. Bradley Reeder officiating.
