Lester Stewart "Pat" Patterson, 93, of Gamber, died Tuesday, Aug. 1,1995, at his home.
Born June 15, 1902, near Reisterstown, he was a son of the late Jesse M. and Mary Marshall Patterson. He was the husband of Hilda Null Patterson, who he married June 16,1928.
A long-time farmer near Gamber, he also worked as a carpenter and millwright, participating in the construction of a number of major projects in the Baltimore area. He was a member of the United Brotherhood of Carpenters and Joiners of America Union, Local 101, for almost 50 years. In 1994, he was honored by the Door to Virtue Lodge No. 46 A.F.&A.M. Masons, Westminster, where he was a member for 70 years. He was also a member of the Tall Cedars of Lebanon, Baltimore Forest No. 45.
Surviving, in addition to his wife, are daughters Patricia J. Patterson of New York and Vivian E. Alvrus of Fort Myers, Fla.; son Stewart L. Patterson of Gettysburg, Pa.; five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
He was predeceased by son Gerald M. Patterson; sister Florence A. Leister; and brother Marshall C. Patterson.
Interment in Providence Cemetery, Gamber.
