Lester L. Bensinger, 77, of 109O Main St., Emerald, died Tuesday in the Lehigh Valley Hospital Center. He was the husband of Hilda A. (Rohrbach) Bensinger.
He worked for Bethlehem Steel Corp. for 33 years before retiring in 1974.
Born in Lewistown, Schuylkill County, he was a son of the late James and Lillie (Schock) Bensinger.
He was a member of St. Peter's United Methodist Church, Emerald.
Surviving with his widow are a daughter, Betty F., wife of Alton A. Wanamaker of Emerald; three brothers, Claude of Port Carbon, Schuylkill County, Theodore of Harrisburg and Roscoe of Tamaqua R.1; four sisters, Mrs. Emily Keller of Schuylkill Haven, Erma, wife of William Miller of Tamaqua R.3, Ada, wife of John Dunn in California, and Mrs. Florence Moyer of De Land, Fla.; two grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Friday in the church. A calling hour will precede the services.
The Robert K. Hahn Funeral Home, Slatedale, is in charge of arrangements.
