Widrick, 82, Whispering Pines Adult Home, formerly of LeRay Apartments, a retired farm laborer, died at 7:42 a.m. Thursday in the emergency room of the House of the Good Samaritan. Mr. Widrick had been a resident of Whispering Pines since October 1992. There will be no funeral or calling hours. The body will be cremated. A graveside service will be held in the spring in Sanford's Corners Cemetery, Calcium. Arrangements are with the Reed & Benoit Funeral Home. .. Surviving are his wife, Helen M., Watertown, and a son, Stephen, Partlow, Va. He was born Dec. 19, 1911, in Syracuse, a son of Dexter and Gertrude Widrick. He was educated in Lacona schools. He married Helen M. McCaw March 19, 1939, at the Redfield parsonage, Redfield, with the Rev. Charles Rowley officiating. Mr. Widrick was employed on various farms in the area, last working for the Charles Murrock Farms on Pearl Street Road. He was a member of Asbury United Methodist Church. References
