Dr. Leslie E. Morrissett, 92, of Richmond, chief of otolaryngology at the former McGuire Veterans Hospital from 1970 to 1977, died Tuesday. Dr. Morrissett received his medical degree from the Medical College of Virginia and in 1936 began a private practice in New York City. A World War II veteran, Dr. Morrissett volunteered for the Army and was chief of the eye, ear, nose and throat department at Borden General Hospital near Oklahoma City. Survivors include two daughters, Clover A. Weller of Athens, Ga., and Carolyn B. Southard of Trumbull, Conn.; a son, Leslie J. Morrissett of Delray Beach, Fla.; and a sister, Esther B. Morrissett, of Richmond.
