Children of Simeon per Hortense, p 29-30 Some details per Dorthea Miller Group Sheets - have obit 1900 Soundex has Lenard W., Dollie, May, Nina and B (brother) Thomas, b. Jan 1878, IA., and SS (step-son?) William E. Daniel, age 8, b. Jun 1891, Iowa. - his or hers?? Per Simeon obit, Leonard W. lived in Henderson in Sep 1927. Appears William E. Daniel is her son by earlier marriage - listed as his step-son in 1900 census itself. Also, says they were married in 1895. This would be before both daughters were born. 1930 census he first married in 1888 (age 21), there fore, he had an earlier marriage. Hers appears to be age 23, which would be their 1895? Raises question of parentage of step-son.

Jan 2007, post-em note, sandra spidell says: "A note about Leonard William Triplett. He was married twice, the first wife (I don't know her name) ran off and who knows what happened to her. But there were no children of this marriage. His second wife was Dollie Viola Houser, she had been married before but her husband died and left her with a son named Ellis Darnell. After she married Leonard they had two girls named May and Nina."
