Leonard Danner was born bet. 1766-1768 [some say he was born in 1772, but he was a few years older], lived in Berks County, Pennsylvania in 1789 when he was listed on the Pennsylvania Tax and Exoneration list in Greenwich Township. He married Susanna Kistler by about 1790. He is listed in nearby Northampton County, Pennsylvania in the 1800 U.S. Census with his wife, 2 sons under 10 and 3 daughters under 10 years of age. He was also listed there in the 1810 U.S. Census with 3 sons and 4 daughters. Leonard Danner died before 7 August 1820 when his widow Susanna was listed in the 1820 U.S. Census. His estate records were filed on 6 September 1821 in Lehigh County, Pennsylvania [Lehigh County was formed from part of Northampton County in 1812].
