Visitation for Leona E. LaReau, 80 of Bradley, will be from 1 to 5 p.m. today at the Rehr-Kaiser Funeral Home in Kankakee. Visitation at the Lutheran Church of the Good Shepherd in Bourbonnais will be from 10 a.m. Monday until ther services at 11 a.m. The Rev. Harvey Nicholson will officiate. Burial will be in Mound Grove Gardens in Kankakee. Memorials may be made for the Lutheran Church of the Good Shephard. Mrs. LaReau died Thursday (April 5, 1990) at Northwestern Memorial Hospital in Chicago following a sudden illness. The daughter of the late Johnn and Emma Wolfe Timm, she was born Sept. 3, 1909 in Chebanse. Surviving are her husband, Harold F. LaReau, whom she married June 19, 1948 at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Kankakee, a sister, Dorothy Wasetis of St. Charles, a brother, Elmer Timm of Springfield, MO; a sister-in-law, Elsie Timm of St. Louis, MO; three nieces, Cheryl Monzingo of St. Charles, Eunice Miller of Valpraiso Ind. and Miriam Greene of St. Louis, MO; two nephews, Lowell Timm of Milwaukee, Wisc. and Alam Wasetis of Ringgold, GA; five grandnephews and three grandnieces. She was preceded in death by a brother, the Rev. Harry TImm. A lifelong resident of the area, she attended Chebanse schools and was a retired employee of the Domestic Laundry. Mrs. LaReau was a member of the Lutheran CHurch of the Good Shephard.
