Leona Brunk's first husband was George Reed who died 16 Sep 1965. She married Rob 2Apr1977 and their 1987 address was R1 Box52, Hackensack,MN 56344 (213)675-6344. Feb. 1998 letter from Gertie Redshaw says that Leona was living at 1117 West St. Apt. 8, Grinnel, IA. 50112. 

See DM Register web page obituary of 12 Feb. 2002 where it lists her death at West Des Moines Fountain West Health Care Center at age 92 from complications of a broken hip; funeral at McLaren's Chapel (the Glendale Cemetery record via IA.Gen.Soc. does not show her burial there, but the obituary states it was the site).  She was born in Gracemont, OK and lived in Des Moines most of her life.  She was a dresser with KRNT Theater and enjoyed fishing.  She was survived by two brothers, Sam Brunk of West Des Moines (who was a ballbearer for Rob Braught's wife, Cleo Ruth ) and Herb Brunk of Washington, IA.  She was preceded in death by her two husbands, George Reed and Robert Braught.
