This one is a mystery. I can't find any other records for a Lena Kocarnik. Given the parents names, it is possible she is the child of Family:Alois Kocarnik and Marie Buresh (1).

Also the address system for Portland must have changed, If I assume the address is the equivalent of 1013 NE 9th Ave, that would put her near the intersection of 9th and Holladay, (right next to Lloyd center). But if we take it to be on 9th Street between Alberta and Humboldt (which are listed as the nearest cross streets), that would place her in the 4900 block, which is the current location of St. Andrews church and school, which may make sense given she was a teacher. Furthermore, the odd numbers are currently on the west side of the street, which is the current St. Andrews School, perhaps she was a nun, or would be soon?

This page represents a "brick wall" -- i.e., researchers are "stuck" in their efforts to find more information. Can you help? Use the Talk page for discussion of this particular brick wall.
