Lena was born in Toledo on November 13, 1904, to Andrew and Wilhelmina Gramling (Gramling Meats). She was one of 13 children. Lena was a member of the first 4-year graduating class of the Notre Dame Academy. Following graduation she briefly worked for Hocking Valley Railroad and married Anthony Bosch on September 3, 1924. She was very devoted to her husband of 57 years and her family, always placing them before herself. Lena, a faith-filled woman, was a member of Gesu Parish for 59 years and was active in the parish's ministry of praise. To all who had the joy of knowing Lena, she was a gracious and gentle lady.
