KNOTT, Lena, age 76, of 2521 Monroe St., passed away in a local hospital Tuesday, Jan. 1, (1957). Mrs. Knott had been a 46-year resident of this community and had attended the Birchwood Presbyterian Church. Surviving relatives are three daughters, Mrs. Jean Phelps and Mrs. Albert Perry, both of Bellingham, and Mrs. George Astel of Seattle; four sons, Clarence F. of Port Angeles, Harley of Port Townsend, Ralph of Renton and Arthur L. of Blaine; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren; two brothers, Cornelius Den Adel of Bellingham, and Henry DenAdel of Lynden, also two sisters, Mrs. Nellie Ball of Sumas and Mrs. Cora Leender of Palm Springs, Calif. The remains rest at Jones' Harlow-Hollingsworth Funeral Home where services will be conducted by the Rev. E. Gordon Crider, minister of the Birchwood Presbyterian Church, Friday, Jan. 4, at 2 p. m. Final resting place Greenacres Memorial Park.
