Obituary from Long Beach Press-Telegram, Friday, February 10, 1950 Lemuel P. Rossiter, 69, of 527 E. Fourth St., died Feb. 8 in a Torrance hospital. He was born in New London, Wis., and came to California in 1901, residing in Los Angeles until removing to Long Beach in 1921. He was a member of the Methodist Church at New London, and was engaged in the roofing business here. Surviving are the widow, Cora B.; a son, Joseph B. Rossiter of Long Beach. Service will be held Saturday at 10 a.m. in the chapel of Patterson & Snively Mortuary, interment to be in Inglewood Park Cemetery.
