When Robert Leslie Hight was 21 he decided he would marry a girl 18. That was just the right age he told his granddaughters years later. That young girl was Lelia Russell. He died a few months shy of their 60th anniversary. Except for a couple of years they lived in Collin county Texas all their married lives. Leila Russell was the oldest child of Elijah Daniel Russell and Lydia Pardue Strode.
