JEFFERSON - - Lee E. Johnson, age 67, of Linden Drive, Jefferson, Ohio, died Saturday, July 29, 2006, at his home. Born January 1, 1939, in Buckingham, Kentucky, he was a son of the late Lewis and Dusty (Hall) Johnson, and had lived in the Jefferson area for the past 35 years. He was employed for Stone Container in Jefferson until his retirement in 2001. Mr. Johnson enjoyed camping, hunting, bingo, and poker. Surviving him are his wife, Anna Sue (Hatfield) Johnson, whom he married January 2, 1965; a daughter, Lisa Kehres of Jefferson; a son, Phil (Vickie) Johnson of Jefferson; six grandchildren, Josh, Jesse, Justin, Corey, Tyler, and Jake; and eight brothers and sisters, Estill (Theresa) Johnson of Kingsville, Bonnie (Merle) Graff of Ashtabula, Ava (Tommy) Spoor of Geneva, Mary Lou (Jim) McDowell of California, Brenda (Garry) Skaggs of Ashtabula, Shirley (Paul) Manis of Tennessee, Darlene (Paul) Gran of Ashtabula, and Debbie Johnson of Cincinnati. He was preceded in death by his parents; his stepmother, Vesta Johnson; sisters, Joy Hall and Naomi Johnson; and a brother, Lucky Johnson. Funeral Services will be at 11 a.m., Wednesday, August 2, 2006, at the Pentecostal Church of God, 2201 Cook Road, Ashtabula, with the Reverend Kenneth Roberts officiating. Burial will be at Oakdale Cemetery in Jefferson.
