Death Of Mrs. Foley
Mrs. Benjamin Foley died at her residence on Tenth Street in this city at 11 o'clock Sunday night. Her death removes another of the Oregon pioneers, and removes from the community one of those who aided in making the history of Oregon. She came to Wasco County in 1854, and has made this her home since. Mrs. Foley was 74 years of age at the time of her death, and besides her husband leaves five children, Mrs. W.H. Van Bebber and A.Y. Marsh of this city, Mrs. Willis of Colfax, Josiah Marsh of Wasco, and Frank Marsh of Eight-Mile.
The funeral took place from the M.E. Church, Wednesday morning at 10 o'clock.
