LAWRENCE WHISLER. TIPTON
Lawrence A. Whisler, 74, a farmer of Atlanta, died Monday at 10:20 a.m., at the Tipton County Hospital. He had been ill since May. Funeral services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Thursday at the Leatherman-Morris Funeral Home, by the Rev. Garland Horton of the Atlanta Christian Church. Interment will be made in the Arcadia Cemetery. Mrs. Whisler born 26 Jul 1890, in Atlanta, a son of Daniel and Catherine Whisler. He was a member of the Atlanta Christian Church, Atlanta Lodge 703 F. & AM, Scottish Rite, and the Shrine at Indianapolis. He is survived by his widow, Marie Ploch Whisler, to whom he was married in Indianapolis, Dec. 21, 1912 ; a daughter Mrs. Virginia Swing of Anderson ; a son, Robert Whisler of Racine, Wis., a sister, Mrs. Claudia Ablertson of Milton ; eight grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Friends may call at the mortuary.
