    "Pennsylvania German Pioneers” by Strassburger, Vol. I, page 256, showed on board boat "Samuel", a JOHANN LORENTZ HENTZEL, aged 38 yrs.
    On pages 259 and 261, he was JOHANN same book, page 286 I, page 256, ’’SAMUEL”, a JOHANN LORENTZ HENTZEL, aged 38 yrs. (when he took oath and subscribed to the government, he was JOHANN LORENTZ HANSEL (with two dots above ”a”). In the showed a "JOHAN JOST HANDZELL”, and on Page 301, showed a ’’PETER HENSELL”, age 22 (1741). Again ’’Pennsylvania German Pioneers”, Vol. I, page 373, on boat ’’HAMPSHIRE”, in 1748, showed a PHILLIP VSNDELL HENSELL, aged 52; took oath (page 375) as ’’PHILIP SWSNDEL FELSEL”. Also, on this same boat, there were Lorentz Wensell, aged 47, and Philip Wensel, aged 48. These WENTZSLS settled near the HENTZELS in Berks Co., Pa. The MICHEL HENSEL, arriving in 1750, also, seems to have been ’’Hans Michael Hetzel”. The Pennsylvania Archives, 2nd Series, also, showed about the same information as given above.

    3rd Series, Pa. Archives, Vol. 24, under warrantees of land, showed LAWRENCE HANSELL 100 acres of land. County of Lancaster, date of survey Jan. 18, 1739; also, 25 acres, date of survey. May 13, 1747.
    3rd Series, Pa. Archives, Vol. 17, page 758, showed Wm. Hansel and Christ Hansel in Lancaster Co., Pa. in 1779. 3rd Series, Pa. Archives Vol. 18, pages 45, 46, and 161, showed CASPER and PHILIP HENSEL in Windsor Tp., Berks Co., Pa. in both 1767 and 1768, each holding 50 acres of land; also, same authority, Michael Dewalt (Michael Hansel's sponser), as owning 200 acres in Windsor Tp., Berks Co., Pa. in both 1767 and 1768; also, same authority, page 13, MICHAEL HENSEL, holding 50 acres in Ruscomb Manor Tp., Co. of Berks in 1767; page 17, MICHAEL HENZEL, holding 150 acres in Richmond Tp., Co. of Berks, in 1767, and on page 146, Michael Henzel, holding 150 acres in Richmond Tp., Co. of Berks in 1768.
