- ↑ In 1886 Lawrence, Anna and their five children left Germany for a new
life in the U.S.A.. They landed in Baltimore Maryland twenty three days later. From there the family travelled to Spring Green, Wisconsin where they established a farm. While here Anna & Lawrence had their last two children. In 1897 Anna died and is buried in St. John's cemetary at Spring Green. In 1903 Lawrence moved the family to Canada except for Adam who stayed in Spring Green with his wife. They cameby wagon train with all their household belongings, machinery horses and cattle as far as Rosthern Saskatewan. From here they made their way some hundred miles to their new farm near Dead Moose Lake, Saskatewan (now known as Marysburg).
