L. Leroy Stantzel, 85, 414 N. High St., Union City,Ind., died Wednesday, March 13, 1991, at Union City Memorial Hospital after a lengthy illness.
He was a retired employee of Union City Body Company and a member of the Evangelical United Methodist Church, Union City Elks Club,Eagles of Union City,Kiwanis Club, Masonic Lodge #444, and the Scottish Rite of Indianapolis.
He was preceded in death by his wife Christa (Teaford) Stentzel in 1969.
Survivors include one daughter Mrs. Peter (JoAnne) MacPhail of San Francisco, Calif.; one son Lawrence L. Stentzel II of Alexanderia, Va.; four grand children; two great grand children; three brothers Joseph and Herbert Stentzel of Greenville,Ohio, and Sterling Stentzel of Miamisburg, Ohio; two sisters-in-law, Wealthy Westfall of Union City, Ind., and Sara Hooks of Dayton,Ohio; and one brother-in-law, Robert Teaford of Columbus,Ohio.
Memorial services will be held Saturday at 2 p.m. at Reichard & Oliver Funeral Home in Union City with the REv. Dennis Clark officiating. Burial will follow in Union City Cemetery.
