Lavina Shockley, age 81, passed away at Mount Carmel East Hospital on Monday, October 1, 2012. She was born in Columbus on June 27, 1931 to the late Virgil and Ethel Ross. Lavina was a long time member of the Gahanna Community Congregational Church. Friends may call 4-7 p.m. Thursday, October 4, 2012 at the SCHOEDINGER NORTHEAST CHAPEL, 1051 E. Johnstown Rd. (at Beecher Rd.), Gahanna, where the Funeral Service will be held at 10:30 a.m. Friday, October 5, 2012. Larry Smiley officiating. Interment at Mifflin Township Cemetery.
