Mrs. Laura Bowen Answers Summons Has Been Ill At Son's Home in Fresno for Some Time 

    Mrs. Laura Bowen, well know Visalian, passed away yesterday evening at 6 o'clock at the home of her son, Arthur, on Butler Ave., according to word received here.  She had been ill for some time, and about 4 months ago moved from Visalia to the Raisen City to live with her son.  Mrs. Laura Bowen about 78 years of age.  The body was brought to Visalia late last night, by Hadley and Lucey.
    Mrs. Bowen was the mother of Mrs. Laura Spiers of Stockton, who has been quite ill; Arthur Bowen of Fresno; Walter Bowen of Phoenix, Arizona; George Bowen of New York.  Other relatives reside in Paso Robles.
    Funeral services will be held from the chapel of Hadley and Lucey, Tuesday Morning at 10 o'clock, friends are invited to attend.
