Frankfort Morning Times Jan. 7, 1959 Pages 1&4 Laura E. Crawford succumbs Tuesday Laura E. Crawford. 79, 308 1/2 E. Washington Street, died at 9:40 p.m. Tuesday at the Clinton County Hospital of complications following a nine month illness. Born in Forest, November 12, 1879, she was the daughter of Abe and Sina (Hopkins) Sanders. She married Charles E. Crawford who preceded her in death, March 1, 1946. Mrs. Crawford had lived all her life in Clinton County and for the past 13 years had made her home with a daughter Mrs. Clayman Clark of Frankfort. Other survivors are two sisters; Mrs. Lefa Hamilton of Frankfort, and Mrs. Ivy Boyer of Kokomo; two brothers, Vernie Sanders of Forest and Roy Sanders of Frankfort; four grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. One sister and two brothers preceded her in death. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Thursday from the Goodwin Funeral Home with Rev. C.H. Wallace officiating. Burial will be in Whiteman Cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home after 2 p.m. today.
