    REDKEY, Ind.--Laura Sue Hartman, 77, 318 E. North, Dunkirk, died Friday in Ball Hospital, Muncie.
    A Redkey native, Mrs. Hartman was a life member of Main Street United Methodist Church, Redkey WCTU and the United Methodist Women's Group, formerly the WSCS. She also belonged to the Republican Women, Jay County Historical Society, the Dunkirk XYZ Club and the President's Council on Aging and had been an active volunteer in the Dunkirk Headstart Program in the 1970s.
    Surviving are her husband, Carl M. Hartman, whom she married March 30, 1930; two daughters, Mrs. Georgel N. (Martha) Campbell, Dunkirk, and Mrs. Kenneth S. (Carol) Austin, Bluffton; two sons, Carl L. and Merrill P., both of Dunkirk; a sister, Geraldine Mathtews, Battle Creek, Mich.; two brothers, John S. Powell, Redkey, and Rodger D. Powell, El Pason, Texas; 15 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.
    Services will be at 10 a.m. Monday in Main Street United Methodist Church. Burial will be in Hillcrest Cemetery. Calling is 2 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday in Jones Mortuaries, Redkey Chapel, or at the church one-half hour before services Monday.
