    L. Frances Pelton, 89, Topeka, died Mon., Oct. 10, 2005 at Midland Hospice House. She was born Oct. 1, 1916 in Jackson County, the daughter of Christopher M. and Dora A. (Eames) Hickman.

    She was a member of Northland Christian Church in Topeka.

    Frances was married to John E. Pelton in 1939. He preceded her in death in 1999.

    She is survived by two daughers, one brother, five grandchildren, and 5 great-grandchildren.

    Funeral services were Oct. 13, at Northland Christian Church, followed by interment in the Holton Cemetery.
