July 12, 1985; page 8, 19 Feb 2006. - ↑ Laura Scogings, 69; Bountiful, Utah: Laura Elisa McMillan Scogings, 69, died Wednesday, July 10, 1985, at Lakeview Hospital in Bountiful following a long illness. She had lived in Blackfoot area most of her life, but due to ill health had lived with a daughter in Bountiful for the past few years. Mrs. Scogings was born Oct 11, 1915, in Sterling, the daughter of Josiah and Anna Larsen Gough. She graduated from Sterling High School. She married Alfred McMillan in 1933. They were later divorced . She married W.D. Scogings in 1958 in Elko, Nev. Mr. Scogings died in 1967. She was a member of the LDS Church. She is survived by one son, Russell McMillan of Spokane, Wash.; one daughter, Mrs. Martin (Doris) Moak of Bounitful; three brothers, Rulon and Basil Gough, both of Balckfoot, and Earl Gough of Pocatello; nine grandchildren; and seven great grandchildren. She was preceded in death by two brothers, Melvin and Elmer; and three sisters, Ida May Tooley, Velma Robinson and Sadie Rock. Funeral services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Saturday at the Hill-Sandberg Funeral Home. The family will meet with friends at the funeral home today from 7-9 p.m. and Saturday for one hour prior to the services. Burial will be in the Grove City Cemetery.
