Henriette Idestrup shows Lars and Inger had 4 children together. I have a 1900 US CN that has Lars C. L. Sund-I am sure that this is the right person but I am not sure who he is living with-)find this document in Poss. Relatives.) the name of the head of household is impossible to read. It could be Lars but since I do not have a birth date for his son Lars I cannot be sure. It probably is not Jens because I found a Jens in Milltown on the same Census but since I do not know his birthdate it is not yet recorded either. I do not have enough proof to enter these people into the dbase yet.

Note-the ages of the mother and father are different than Henriette Idestrup dbase but I believe that this is the correct family. The children all match in names and ages and the mother and fathers names are ones that are very similar to the names I had.

    Page 1103:
    J. L. Sund, general merchant at Milltown, Wis., was born in Denmark, June 28, 1859, son of L. C. L. and Ingar (Jensen) Sund, who settle in Polk county in 1873, farming in Milltown until the time of their deaths. Mr. Sund received but a few months' schooling, but has picked up a good business education. For about twenty-one years he worked on a farm. When a young man he cleared 100 acres of land, and for fourteen winters he worked in the lumber woods, with three summers on the river. In 1898 he engaged in the general store business, starting the establishment now known as the Milltown Department Store. This is the largest store in the village and carries the largest stock of any store in the county. The custom in this store is large and its reputation has always been of the best, its past record assuring people that whatever they buy of Mr. Sund will be of good quality and honestly represented. In addition to his store in Milltown, Mr. Sund owns 640 acres of land in North Dakota, where he carries on farming on a large scale. The farm is well improved. On the place are sixteen head of horses, and valuable farm machinery costing about $10,000. Our subject attends the Danish Lutheran church, belongs to the Odd Fellows and votes the Republican ticket. He was married, in 1881, to Christine Laursen, who has borne him seven children: Marie, Martin Louise, Julia, George Dewey, William McKinley and Irven. Reference number: BCWI020
