!SOURCES: Information taken from a family group sheet submitted to the LDS genealogical society by Mrs. Joseph Norris Larsen of 404 South 2nd West in Brigham City, Utah. She got her information from Church records, F Den Frdbg V1 pt 1,2. The children of Lars Nielsen and Ane Hansen were sealed to their mother Ane and her first husband, Jorgen Pedersen on 29 Sep 1955 in the Salt Lake Temple. RESEARCH NOTE: Be aware that there were "two" Lars Nielsen boys growing up in Vejby parish. The other Lars Nielsen was two years older and lived in the village of Hollose. This other Lars Nielsen was the son of Niels Larsen and Olevig Johansdatter. Lars Nielsen's farm in Monge was Gedderbrogård (farm house), located at Matr. nr. Mønge, 9a/ Møngevej 39 Vejby. After Lars emigrated to America, his daughter Sidse Larsen and her husband Lars Nielsen took over the farm operation. with his wife Sidse Larsdatter, age 38, married, .... their children Maren Larsen, age 8, unmarried and Hans Larsen, age 5, unmarried two servants or farm hands: Soren Larsen, age 18 and Anne Larsen, age 15 Also living there: Lars Nielsen (Sidse's father), age 70, married and his wife Ane Hansdatter, age 63 (this would have been just a few days before she died) Lars Nielsen left Liverpool, England on April 30, 1863, sailing on the ship "John Boyd". He arrived in New York City June 1, 1863. With him were his daughter Bendte and her family, his daughter Maren and her children, and two sons. Lars lived with Bendte in Hyrum, Utah until his death. Copenhagen Conference. 1870 Census Hyrum, Cache county, Utah. 16 July 1870: Soren Jensen, 45, male, white, farmer, land $230; personal property $150, born in Denmark Engra [Inga], 55, female, white, keeps house, born in Denmark Mary C. 29, female, white, at home, born in Denmark Lars Nielsen 80, male, white, no occupation, born in Denmark Lars' two daughters, Inger Jensen and Bendte Rasmussen both lived near each other in Hyrum, and took care of their father until his death. He is buried in the Hyrum City cemetery. His daughter Maren was in the same valley, with her new husband James Johnson, but lived about 30 miles north of Hyrum.
