LaNora Atkinson, 84, of 4724 W. Meadow Lane died Thursday, Dec. 30, 1993, at her home.
Born Oct. 29, 1909, in Civer to Joseph P. and Ethel Atkinson Goett, she married Albert F. Atkinson on Aug. 25, 1933, in Peoria. He died Dec. 11, 1992,in Peoria. One brother and one sister also preceded her in death.
Surviving are three sons, Louis, Richard and Paul, all of Peoria; four daughters, Mrs. John (Kathleen) McHugh of Metamora, Mrs. Robert (Shirley) Quick and Mrs. George (Marilyn) Sullivan, both of Bartonville, and Mrs. Edward (Patricia) Driscoll of Peoria; two brothers, LaVern Goett of Peoria Heights and James Goett of West Peoria; and one sister, Alice Mackoway of Creve Coeur.
She was a secretary at Manual Arts Press. She later owned and operated Atkinson Bakery out of her home, last working in 1980.
Burial will be in Swan Lake Memory Gardens, Peoria.
