Mr. and Mrs. Lane A. Radloff

Funeral services for Mr. and Mrs. Lane A. Radloff were held Saturday, August 9, 1980, at 10:30 a.m. at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Postville. The Rev. David R. Nelson officiated. Burial was in the Postville Cemetery. Pallbearers were Bradley Brainerd, Mark Brainerd, Charles Poesche, Bradley Loftsgard, Paul Fichtel, Terry Szabo, Mark Looney, and Stuart Schultz.

Lane Allen Radloff, son of Harley and Belva (Brandt) Radloff Jr., was born October 12, 1957, at Postville, Iowa, and baptized December 1, 1957.

Rhonda Kayleen Radloff, daughter of Keith and Jenetta (Loftsgard) Brainerd, was born January 18, 1958, at Postville, and baptized February 23, 1958.

They were both confirmed at St. Paul Lutheran Church on April 29, 1973, and graduated from Postville Community Schools in 1976. On September 3, 1977, they were united in marriage in Postville. To this union a son, Derrick, was born. The couple farmed near Luana. They died Tuesday, August 5, 1980, as the result of a motor-vehicle accident near Cromwell, Minnesota.

Surviving Lane are his son, Derrick, his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Harley Radloff Jr., Postville; three brothers, Blake, who is stationed with the Army in Germany, Nick and Darren, both at home; a sister, Mrs. Kedrick (Jackie) Groth, Castalia; paternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Harley Radloff Sr., Luana, and maternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Ewald Brandt, Postville. He is preceded in death by his mother, Belva (Brandt) Radloff.

Rhonda is survived by her son, Derrick; her father, Keith Brainerd of Postville, and two sisters, Mrs. Mark (Marsha) Cooper of Red Wing, Minnesota, and Kamie Brainerd, Postville. She is preceded in death by her mother, Jenetta (Loftsgard) Brainerd.
