East Livermore, Oct. 24--LeRoy LaFayette Hinkley died Saturday morning at the home of his son, George Hinkley, where he had lived for a year.
He was born in Madrid, Feb. 4, 1861, the son George and Louise Hinkley. He spent his boyhood in Phillips and married Edith Harnden of Phillips, May 11, 1879.
In 1907 he moved to Dryden, where he built the only stone house in town.
Besides his wife, Mr. Hinkley is survived by two sons, George of East Livermore, Reginald of Phillips, nine grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
