Kunigunda travelled to San Francisco, CA twice. 1st: Feb. 15, 1876 on the steamer ACAPED with Henrietta and Willie. 2nd: 1891 with husband Carl and Henrietta. Henrietta studied how to trim hats (become a milliner). Willie was in Georgia. (letter dated Feb. 15, 1891)
