Kenneth Kimble

Kenneth A. Kimble, 70, of 321 Carolina Ave., Chester, died today at 7:15 a.m. at home following a lengthy illness. Mr. Kimble was born April 5, 1909, in Ravenna, a son of George Kimble and Ida Jackson Kimble. He was retired in 1974 as a foreman at the Homer Laughlin China Co. in Newell. He was a member of the Westminster United Presbyterian Church, Masonic Lodge 142 and a charter member of the Lions Club in Chester. Mr. Kimble also was a member of the East Liverpool Elks Lodge. In addition to his wife. Mrs. Josephine A. Allison Kimble, whom he married March 9, 1934, survivors include a son, Richard Kimble of Chester, three brothers, Walter (Wilkie) Kimble of San Diego, Calif., William Kimble of Orlando, Fla., and Lester Kimble of San Angelo, Tex., three sisters, Mrs. Dorothy Porter of Hemet, Calif., Mrs. Elsie Moore of East Liverpool and Mrs. Ruth Bartley of Dania, Fla., and two grandsons. Services will be held Tuesday at 1 p.m. from the Arner Funeral Chapel in Chester by Dr. George Espy. Burial will be in Locust Hill Cemetery, Chester. Friends may call Sunday from 7 to 9 and Monday afternoon and night at the funeral home where the family will be present from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.
