Grandparents: Family:Joseph Hammer and Julia Hammer (1) Kenneth L Hammer Kenneth L Hammer, 50, 3447 W CR 38, Tiffin, died Thursday, Dec. 4, 200 3, at his home. He was born May 29, 1953, in Tiffin, to Herbert and Helen (Smith) Hammer H is mother is deceased and his father survives in rural Bascom with his ste p-mother, Rita Hammer. His wife, Geralyn K (Bloom) Hammer, whom he marri ed May 30, 1975, in Tiffin, survives. Other survivors include: a son, Barry A (Beth) Hammer of Tiffin; two daugh ters, Roberta A (Jason) Rohde of NJ and Andrea H (Alex) Wagner of Castali a; three grandchildren, Elijah Hammer and Logan and Taylor Rohde; six brot hers, David (Sandy) Hammer of Perrysburg, Thomas (Carol) Hammer of Alvad a, Wm (Diane) Hammer and Donald (Cathe) Hammer, both of Tiffin; Roger (De b) Hammer and Michael (Vicki) Hammer, both of Fostoria; and seven sister s, Diane Phoenix of TX, Lou (Leonard) Coleman of Napoleon, Patie (David) E lchert of FL, Mary (Ken) Baker of Risingsun, Eileen (John) Hoover of Tiffi n, Lois (Jim) Boatman of Tennessee and Barbara (Randy) Fry of Tiffin.. Mr. Hammer, a 1971 graduate of Hopewell-Loudon High School, was employ ed at the American Standard for 31 years, ending his career in 2002. He st arted farming in 1996. He was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church and E agles Aerie 402. He enjoyed golfing, basketball, softball and at one ti me was a mud volleyball champion. He also loved his grandchildren. Duri ng his children's elementary years he was a volunteer coach for soccer a nd t-ball at Clinton Elementary School, A funeral Mass will be at 12:30 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 6, 2003, in St. Jose ph Catholic Church, with the Rev. Art Niewiadomski officiating. The rosa ry will be recited at 12:15 p.m. Saturday at the church. Burial wi ll be in St. Patrick Catholic Cemetery, Bascom The rosary also will be rec ited at 11:30 a.m. Saturday at Hoffmann-Gottfried Funeral Home. Visitation is 3-8 p.m. today, Dec. 5, at Hoffmann-Gottfried Funeral Home.
