Kenneth Bowlus May 6, 1944-March 14, 1990 Kenneth R. Bowlus, 75, 35 Seminole Court Northeast, Winter Haven, Fla., died at his home March 14. . Born in Toledo, he was the son of Lydia (Schwartz) Bowlus. He and Mary Rose Ochs were married Sept. 4, 1937, in Fremont. She survives along with daughters, Gail Lorenz, San Rafael, Calif.; and Karel Oxley, Fremont; a son, Scott Bowlus, Cincinnati; five grandchildren; a brother, Earl of Fremont; and sisters, Jane Bowlus, Sandusky, and Margaret Pentz, Columbus. He was a 50-year life member of the Elks. He had retired to Florida three years ago after living most of his life in Fremont. A memorial Mass will be at St. Joseph Church at 11 a.m. Saturday. Burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery. Keller-Ochs-Koch in charge of arrangements, but there will be no local calling hours. Memorials may be made to the Catholic Education Development Fund in care of St. Joseph Central Catholic High School or Good Shepherd Hospice in Winter Haven.
