MADISON - Keith Michael Saunders, age 43, passed away Sun. morning, July 9, 1995, at his home in Madison. Keith was born in Edgerton on Jan. 23, 1952, and was the son of Mrs. Betty Saunders and the late Herbert Saunders. He attended the Edgerton schools and graduated from there in 1970 and from MATC in 1987 with an Associate degree in Applied Arts, Visual Communications. Keith worked at the Department of Transportation as a graphic artist for several years.
Keith took special interest in flowers and plants and creative art work, including stained glass, sketching and painting. He enjoyed music and spiritual studies. Keith was a peaceful man who gained sobriety with the help of Alcoholics Anonymous.
Survivors include his mother, Mildred "Betty" Saunders; 2 sisters, Wyn Saunders of California and Judy Saunders of Madison; 3 brothers: Herbert M. of Greendale, Dale R. (Kathie) and David A. (Susan) both of Edgerton; 10 nieces and nephews; several aunts, uncles and cousins and a large circle of wonderful friends. He was preceded in death by his father, Herbert A. Saunders; and his sister-in-law, Debbie Saunders.
Visitation will be held Wed., July 12 from 5:30 until 8:30 p.m. at Olson-Holzhuter Funeral Home on the corner of N. Page and W. Prospect, Stoughton. The funeral will be held on Thursday morning, July 13, at 10:30 a.m. in the Cooksville Congregational Church at the corner of Hwy. 138 S. and Hwy. 59 in Cooksville.
