    He was preceded in death by parents, Loren and Eula Ruth Olmstead, and older brother, Stan Olmstead. He was survived by his younger sister, Carolyn McClelland, nieces and nephews. He grew up in Hennessey and Marshall, OK. He graduated from Marshall High School in 1954. He attended Oklahoma A&M where he belonged to Sigma Alpha Epsilon Fraternity. He also attended Central State College in Edmond, OK. He was a cattleman. He was a member of the Christian Church in Marshall. A graveside service was held 3/22/2008 with The Rev. Tommy Donaldson officiating.
