At Jake's funeral she was in a wheelchair though she can walk with a cane. Laurie Ruhr says she has the Thiele look - blue eyes like Grandpa Thiele and she is quite lively. Have one son who was at the funeral. Their daughter who lives in the States was ill and couldn't make it to the funeral. Their other son had died a number of years ago with a heart attack. She took care of Jake at home for quite a while as he was beridden. One of the grandchildren's husbands is doing research - his name is Philip Sather.
