Samuel A. Alloway obituary reported that he married a second wife, Kate Granger, after his first wife died. He and Kate had four living children when he died. One record names Kate as Katherine Ann VonStein Granger (her maiden name was VonStein). One report says that she was adopted by a family named Granger living in MI.
