Katherine Froehlich, 91, of Lodi died Dec. 2 in a local convalescent hospital following a lengthy illness. She was born Katherine Neidhardt on Aug. 13, 1902 in North Dakota

Mrs. Froehlich graduated from Dickinson State Teacher's College in North Dakota. She taught school in a rural area of North Dakota for 10 years. She moved to Oakland in 1944 and held various positions before becoming an L.V.N. for Alameda County for 20 years. She moved to Lodi in early November of this year to be closer to her family.

She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church in San Leandro and a member of the Breakfast Club. She was a seamstress and enjoyed crafts.

Mrs. Froehlich is survived by one son, Howard Wullschleger of Victorville; four grandchildren; seven great grandchildren; two sisters, Lydia Neidhardt of Lodi and Hattie Morris of Oceanside; four brothers, Jake Neidhardt of Sacramento, Arthur Neidhardt of Rio Vista, Albert and Ted Neidhardt, both of North Dakota

She was preceded in death by one daughter, Lucille Wullschleger in 1945; one brother, John Neidhardt; one sister, Hulda Prideaux.

The memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. Friday at First Presbyterian Church 180 Estudillo Ave. in San Leandro. Committal is at Mountain View Cemetery in Oakland. There will be no visitation. Arangements are under the direction of the Lodi Funeral Home.

The memorial service Katherine Froehlich, 91, of Lodi who died Dec. 2 will be held at 1 p.m. Friday at First Presbyterian Church, 180 Estudillo Ave. in San Leandro. Comittal is at Mountain Veiw Cemetery in Oakland. There will be no visitation. Arangements are under the direction of the Lodi Funeral Home.
