ILL ONLY SHORT TIME, WELL KNOWN YOUNG BUSINESS MAN SUCCUMBS TO PNEUMONIA
Karl F. Rohm, well known young business man, died suddenly late Tuesday night at his home 1317 Sunset Avenue. His illness was of short duration, a small infection on his forehead developed into erysipelas, and later into pneumonia, which caused his death.
Saturday afternoon he was able to do work in the meat market on Columbia St, in which he was associated with his brother.

Karl Frederick Rohm was born March12,1889, a son of the late Michael and Catherine Reusswig Rohm. He was educated here, and upon the completion of his school course entered the store and market at that time owned by his father, and has been connected with ever since. Mr. Rohm was a member of Troop G, until he received injuries which necessitated his retirement. He was a member of the First Moravian Church and of the Men's Club of that parish, and also held membership in the Woodsman of America.

May 12,1914, Mr. Rohm married Miss Whilma Freeley, his wife surviving him with four children. Mr. Rohm was of genial disposition and was popular among a large circle of friends.

He is survived by his wife, four children, Beatrice, June, Violet and Shirley, his mother, Mrs. Chatherine Rohm of 1506 Steuben St., four sisters, Mrs. William Carpenter, Mrs. Alfred Morgan, Mrs. Norbert Falk and Mrs. Howard Sexton, all of this city, and two brothers, William J. Rohm of Albany, and Ernest Rohm of this city.
