Kristoffer stated in 7/04 that Karl & Ingrid "visited Sweden on many occasions", implying that the gg-grandparents may have immigrated or visited America several times between 1901 and their deaths in Sweden in the 1940's. A 1910 picture of the family in Sweden was taken when he was in America. A 1911 picture was taken in America with his daughter ,Meby, on the occasion of Louisa's 50th birthday. A quick search of Ellis Island records thru 1924 was unproductive.

I believe Karl & Ingrid visited and lived in both countries. It appears they would live for a time in one and then return to the other. Mike 8/04
