Karen A. Jordan, 73, of Jeannette, passed away Wednesday, December 13, 2017, in the Excel Health Westmoreland Hospital, Greensburg. She was born February 26, 1944, in Jeannette, the daughter of the late Samuel and Elva (Loughner) Cole. Prior to her retirement Karen was a Pharmacy Technician for the former Jeannette District Memorial Hospital and various reputable pharmacy’s in the area. Karen was fluent in American Sign Language which she also taught voluntarily. She was an avid reader, a skilled artist in painting and needlework, and enjoyed immensely the company of her 3 canine companions, Max, Mike, and Moses. She is survived by her loving husband of 55 years, Ronald A. Jordan; her daughters, Lisa west and husband Dale, of Murrysville, Lori Horvat and husband Charles, of North Huntingdon, and Christine Holsopple and husband Ron of Greensburg; grandchildren, Hannah, Zachery, Jordan, Aaron, Adam, Samantha, Kayla, and Molly.
