"Married Josephine at St. Michael's in Brooklyn per Marriage Certificate. Witnesses were Conrad Reuss and R. Matchekoski. It was a double wedding ceremony with August Menges (Josephine's stepbrother) and Elizabeth Miller. Note affixed to certificate states that Julius was Baptized at All Saints, Bklyn, on Nov 20 1893."
