Person:Julia Unknown (268)

Facts and Events
Name Julia A _____
Gender Female
Birth[1][2] Jul 1855 Rhode Island, United States
Marriage to Theodore Hyde
Death[2] 1922 Connecticut, United States
Other? Speculative parents?: Ezekiel Lamb and Jane Brown (1)

The original information (apparently taken from a book) was that the wife of Theodore Hyde was Ada Lamb, daughter of Ezekiel Lamb and Jane Brown. However, there is no Ada Lamb in the family of Ezekiel and Mary J Lamb in the 1850 or 1860 censuses. (There is an Ella Brown, possibly a niece of Jane (Brown) Lamb, of approximately the right age in their household in the 1860 census.)

The birth places given for Julia Hyde in the 1900 census are consistent with the Ezekiel Lamb family (Rhode Island for herself and her mother, and Connecticut for her father). Possibly, she was simply missed in the 1860 census.

There is a Julia Lamb, born about 1856, in New London, Connecticut in the 1870 census, living with an older Sarah Lamb (old enough to be her grandmother).

It is possible that Theodore Hyde's wife was Julia Ada Lamb, daughter of Ezekiel and Jane (Brown) Lamb, but the evidence available online to support this is very weak.
