ZANESVILLE -- Julia B. Price, 90, of Zanesville, formerly of Skyline Drive, Cambridge, went home to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ on Friday, April 2, 2004, at 7:40 p.m. at Genesis Hospice Morrison House.

Julia was born on July 29, 1913, in Wheeling, W.Va., to the late Robert H. and Rev. Della McBride Sherwin. She attended Rio Grande University, Cincinnati Conservatory of Music and MATC Nursing Program. She taught music at Ashland College, College of Wooster, Oberlin College and gave private music lessons. She also worked as a nurse at Cambridge State Hospital.

Julia was active in the Cambridge Salvation Army including their Medical Fellowship, Home League, and was a 40-year member of League of Mercy as a pianist.

She is survived by four sons: Robert J. (Carol) Price, J. Benjamin (Martha) Price, Joseph R. (Mary Ann) Price and Timothy W. Price, all of Cambridge; three daughters, Evelyn J. (Robert) Tysinger of Zanesville, Marigold M. Marsh of Ashland, and Julia A. McGath of Poland; 23 grandchildren, 50 great-grandchildren and several great-great grandchildren; one brother, E. H. Sherwin of Las Vegas, Nev.; one sister-in-law, Ellen Frizzell of Massilon; and one nephew, David (Shirley) Sherwin of Las Vegas, Nev.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, James E. Price; stepfather Dr. B. A. Sherwin; three sons, Cullen W. Price, Donald E. Price and infant Daniel D. Price.

Calling hours will be 10:30 a.m. to noon on Tuesday, in the Chapel of Snouffer Funeral Home, 1150 W. Military Road, Zanesville. Funeral services will be conducted at noon by Major Susan Walter of the Zanesville Salvation Army.

Burial will follow in Clearfolk Cemetery near Winterset.
